San Marino is the third smallest country in Europe. Other two are the Vatican and Monaco. San Marino is placed in Italy, but it is the independent country. They like to say that San Marino is the oldest republic in the world. There are many interesting places to visit, despite the size of just 61.2 square kilometers. The closest railway station is in Remini as well. You can get by a car in this country. There is no border control, so there is no delay in order to get into the country. There is a lot of free parking so moving through the city isn’t a problem. The official language is Italian. But they speak very clean Italian language. Also, there are a lot of Russian tourists, so this language is frequently used. Many restaurants and coffee houses use Russian language. The English language is used but not so mush.
You will be able to move around the city without knowing Italian of Russian language. The official currency is the euro. A good thing is that prices of certain items are lower than in Italy.
