Four wallpapering problems and the solutions
Wallpaper can totally transform a room from boring to the one full of pizzaz. However, little things concerned with the wallpaper can just as easily make it difficult to live with. Here are four wallpapering problems and how you can prevent or deal with them:
Have you noticed the edges coming off the wall, specifically on the top walls? When this happens, get a brush to paint the adhesive both on the wallpaper and the wall. Gently press it back in place and use a roller to flatten it.
To solve one of the most common wallpapering problems, you’ll want a glue injector. Get the one with a syringe. Cut a small yet sharp slit at the bubble and inject some adhesive by using the needle, and press with a damp sponge. If you have a roller, then gently roll over until the bubble is flattened.
The first thing you must do before having your home wallpapered is to buy an extra roll. When you have left over wallpaper, then covering up the damaged areas is simple. Cut a large piece and patch it over the damage!
After a while, your wallpaper may start to curl up at the seam. It happens all the time and is a common wallpapering problem. The good news is that you don’t have to rip of your wallpaper off to replace it. You can fix it easily. Uncurl the seam and use a vinyl-adhesive under it. Flatten it with a roller and viola! Good as new!
